中西方共融于“嘉”，缔造海嘉多元国际文化
李斯有言：“泰山不让土壤，故能成其大；河海不择细流，故能成其深。”可见古之成大事者，必以广博的胸怀包容一切。作为一所国际化的双语学校，中西方融合是每一所院校所要面临的问题。如何让中西方管理团队、学术团队完美契合，共同缔造校园文化内涵？从文化共存到共生、到融合，海嘉校园有着独特的融合密码。
目标一致，双轨同行
“中西融合”当中的“中”是什么，“西”是什么？“中”当中选什么和“西”当中选什么来进行融合，才能变成我们更优化的方式？会议现场，学术团队的老师们为我们带来了最真实的案例。以小学部数学为例，小学部课程实行国家标准课程和美国标准课程同轨模式，在课程开展的时候，中西方教育团队在设置之处便以大纲为依托，明确教学目标，以双语形式分享教学大纲、目标、单元内容。在共同的目标下，中方教学团队注重学术基础的夯实、西方教学团队注重数学思维的探索、发散，双轨同行共同培养学生的学术、探究能力。
以活动为导向，融文化于一“嘉”
顾明远先生曾说过：“学生成长在活动中。”在海嘉校园里，中西方特色的文化活动成为校园里最值得期待的时刻。回顾一年的精彩：我们在传统的中国文化年中以“名人故事”为脉络，穿越古今了解中国传统文化；我们以国际日为契机，以广博的视野关注世界，了解各国风俗民情；以书本为媒，在阅读月中一同阅读中西方的经典——中西方教学团队在活动中的合作，让不同的文化从共存、到共生、到融合，真正为海嘉学子营造最自然的国际化双语环境。
在活动中成长，在精彩的课外课中学会团结、合作和拼搏进取。自开办以来，海嘉课外课一直备受家长、学生的喜爱。三年以来，海嘉课外课以306%的水平高速增长，140余种课外课给到学生更加精彩的选择和课外生活。
解码“爱与幸福”，打造共同教育信仰
“转圆石于千仞之山者，势也。”在国际教育这一大系统中，如何才能在引领潮头，汇聚各方力量，推动教育变革。年度总结会议带领我们找到最适合的答案。
在会议现场，校学术、管理团队，以不同的主题开展小组式讨论，以“全球社区”、“爱与沟通”、“幸福”等话题开展对于社区文化的探究，解码“爱与幸福”。
正如与会人员们分享的：“海嘉的爱，不仅是社区的爱，是学校的爱，也是自然之爱、家庭之爱。以平视的视角，去关爱他人。让教师享受教育的幸福，让学生享受幸福的教育，关注学生的情感、社交发展，注重语言发展，以学生为本，培养具有4R+10A海嘉毕业素养的学生。”
“一群人，一个家；一种态度，一个习惯，一种坚持。共同定位，相互扶持，奇妙的力量会自动为学校加持，为更多人筑梦。”在这场国际教育的双语总结会议上，既有东西方管理理念的意见输出，又包含中外不同教育理念的经验共享，不同文化的交锋在“激励、引导、凝聚”理念上达成共识，以领导层的向心力，带动各个团队的向心力，用教育的力量，合作、互助、和谐、共进，打造共同的教育信仰。
