香港大学是香港第一所大学，由1887年成立的香港西医书院及香港官立技术专科学校合并而成，于1911年在香港岛正式创立；中华民国国父孙中山先生为香港西医书院首届毕业生。

当时西方列强争相在中国成立大学，时任港督卢押认为英国同样需要在香港设立一所大学，一为与其他列强竞争，二来让中国人（尤其是香港人）认同英国的价值观，抗衡其他列强文化理念，便于英国向华南拓展势力、巩固其在整个香港的统辖管治。

而清政府两广总督和省港工商界亦觉得成立大学有助中国人学习西方的科技，使中国自强，遂默许并予以支持。恰又逢当时太古集团辖下的一艘货船发生工业意外事故，导致多名中国船员伤亡，管理层急欲修补公司形象，便一同捐款资助成立港大。

在英国政府和其他香港英资（如汇丰银行）支持下，卢押最终筹得足够资金筹建大学，于1910年3月16日主持大学的奠基仪式。

1911年港大成立，1912年举行了正式的创校典礼。因卢吉认为当时中国社会不适宜接触西方的人文价值观（如共产主义理念），大学最初模仿利物浦大学的制度，重理工而轻人文，故只设三个学院：医学院、工程学院及文学院，当中没有开设社会学和哲学等人文课程。

近日，山东省2018年艺考校考正进行得如火如荼。由于专业原因，舞蹈、表演等专业仍旧沿用了传统的评委打分模式。对于这种模式，个别家长担心有考生会提前找关系。其实，这种担心应该不存在。大众网记者26日从山东艺术学院舞蹈表演专业复试现场获悉，除外聘评委外，考场里的本校评委都是当日早上6点才知具体监考场次，早上7点半前就要进入考场，中间基本不存在托关系问题。

上午10点，大众网记者来到山东省文化艺术学校，这里正在进行的是舞蹈表演专业的复试。艺考期间，这里承担着山东艺术学院舞蹈学院相关专业的初试和复试。在紧挨着考场的一处练功房内，十几名考生正在进行着一字马、压腿等考试前的准备工作。

“一会这十几名考生就要进入考场了。”山东艺术学院舞蹈学院院长李军告诉记者，考场中，所有考生除了编号，其他像名字、考号等身份信息评委都是接触不到的。需要注意的是，复试过程中，除对考题不理解，考生和评委间全程无任何交流。即使在复试自选舞蹈表演展示环节，考官也要求不允许报出自己所排舞蹈名称和编号。

那考生有没有可能提前私底下接触到评委？对此，李军表示，这种可能基本不存在。“艺考期间本校所有评委都是当天早上从学校的评委库里机器抽选，在这之前没有人会知道谁会担任本场考试的评委。”

以今天的复试为例，今早6点，学校招生办、纪委和审计等部门人员会联合到学校办公室抽取复试的本校评委，抽出后，会用办公电话通知到个人，被选中的评委7点半前必须到考场开考务会，之后就会上交手机等通讯工具，并进入考场。李军告诉记者，为了保证考试公平，还必须保证所有评委中有三分之一是外聘评委。

据悉，今年全国共有1700余人次报名参加山艺舞蹈专业考试，报名人数比去年略有减少。
