We aspire for all of our pupils to strive to ‘learn how to learn’ and aspire to achieve their learning potential, develop lifelong habits for further studies and careers whilst becoming happy caring individuals who achieve personal success and foster a love of learning and of life.

Students must take advantage of the opportunities made available to them on campus, particularly beyond the classroom.

Whether they represent the school team at varsity football or basketball

Participate in concerts withthe orchestra or choir

Please talk about the future trend of children's education, how does the development of EMW curriculums adapt to various changes?

请谈谈未来教育的趋势，融合课程的发展如何适应各种变化？

EMW curriculums prepare students to thrive at tertiary level (university) overseas. In spite of the uncertainty across the world, this still remains the firm goal for most parents.

Nevertheless, we will see more families choosing EMW curriculum in China rather than move abroad to a foreign boarding school. The quality of bilingual education in Shanghai remains extremely high and the access the city offers to support mechanisms to prepare students to thrive at overseas universities is unrivalled across Asia.

尽管世界各地存在不确定性，但留学深造仍是很多家长选择之一。

上海以一贯以来的高质量双语教学为学生在海外大学的茁壮成长提供了支持，因此越来越多的家庭选择国内的双语学校，为孩子今后的求学之路打下坚实的基础。

What preparations should parents make for their children's study in university overseas?

家长应该为孩子将来申请海外大学做哪些准备？

Parents should choose at least two destination countries for their child's university education. They should research these locations thoroughly and be prepared to end up sending their child to either.

家长需要为孩子的大学教育选择至少两个目的地国家，并做详细的调研为最终的求学之路做好充分的准备。

Where possible, the best research is to visit the universities in the summer vacation of Grade 10.

在条件允许的情况下，家长可以在10年级暑假带孩子实地考察目标大学。

Alternatively they could reach out to the Admissions Officers for their chosen universities and meet them in person when they visit Shanghai on marketing tours.
